Michael Scott joined Mike Miller Law in 2024 and excels in civil law, personal injury, criminal defense, and workers' compensation. His diverse background and dedication to his clients make him a versatile and committed attorney, ready to tackle a wide range of legal challenges.

Michael pursued his legal education at the University of Maryland School of Law, where he participated in the Youth Education and Justice Clinic, representing juveniles in reconsideration hearings and advocating for children in the school system. During law school, he also served as a law clerk for the Prince George's County State's Attorney's Office in the Convictions and Sentencing Integrity Unit, where he reviewed innocence claims and sentencing reconsiderations.

After passing the Maryland Bar in 2021, Michael clerked for the Honorable Nicholas Rattal, the Criminal Coordinating Judge in the Prince George's County Circuit Court. From 2022 to 2024, he worked as a public defender in Anne Arundel County, handling misdemeanor and felony cases and gaining extensive trial experience. Michael also has significant experience in post-conviction and reconsideration proceedings.

Michael holds a certificate from the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration in DWI Detection and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing, the same course taken by law enforcement officers.
